Koh Brothers awarded S$99.8m Bukit Timah canal improvement contract
Project is second phase of canal's expansion.
In a release, construction and specialist engineering solutions provider Koh Brothers Group Ltd (Koh Brothers) announced that it has been awarded a S$99.8 million contract from the PUB, Singapore’s national water agency.
Under the contract, Koh Brothers will carry out improvement works to the existing trapezoidal canal and crossings at the Bukit Timah First Diversion Canal (Bukit Timah Road to Holland Green). The contract, with a contract period of 36 months, has commenced on February 18, 2013. This project is the second phase in a threephase expansion of the Bukit Timah First Diversion Canal.
Mr Francis Koh, Koh Brothers’ Group Managing Director and Group CEO, said: “we are pleased to have secured the contract from PUB, which ushers in a strong start to the year.
