Midas clinches $79.4m US rail contract
This is its first foray into the US.
Mainboard-listed Midas Holdings has clinched a $79.4m (US$58.3m) contract to supply aluminium alloy extrusion profiles and fabricated parts for a rail project in the United States.
With delivery slated to take place progressively between 2015 and 2020, this contract is Midas’ single largest export contract to-date as well as the Group’s maiden rail contract in the United States.
