Tritech Engineering bags S$9.88m contract for transmission cable tunnel

The proposed tunnel from Ayer Rajah to Paya Lebar will house SP PowerAssets’ 400kV transmission cables.

The Board of Directors of Tritech Group Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Tritech Engineering and Testing (S) Pte Ltd had been awarded a S$9.88 million contract for Instrumentation and Monitoring Works for East-West Transmission Cable Tunnel.

Tritech Engineering has been appointed by SPPA under the contract for, inter alia, the supply and installation of instrumentation, and monitoring, recording, and presentation of data from this instrumentation for civil construction works performed.

The contract period is approximately 54 months, commencing from 8 October 2012 and expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter 2017.
