Seven in 10 firms plan to increase spending on construction technologies.
Construction professionals in Singapore are committed to embark on a digital transformation journey with seven in 10 planning to increase their spending on construction technologies as a proportion of their annual budget.
Younger firms aged below 10 were also more likely to embrace technology (81%), according to Procore Technologies.
Amongst technologies, professionals believe construction management platforms (56%) will be the biggest driver of change in the industry in the next three years, followed by payment technologies (40%).
Singapore construction professionals said prefabrication/DFMA (35%), big data (33%), and next-generation BIM (30%) will also be game-changers in the industry.
