Singapore water treatment plant Choa Chu Kang Waterworks will be under a $28.8m worth of reconstruction to turn it into a “state-of-the-art” facility by 2026.
National water agency PUB announced the reconstruction will introduce smart capabilities to enhance the facilty’s operation, maintenance and security.

Singapore hospitals will allow visits to extend, the Ministry of Health said, provided visitors take a COVID-19 test.
The Ministry said visitors can stay beyond 20 minutes if they are visiting dangerously ill patients, parents in need of care support and delivering or postpartum mothers.
