
KSH snags S$59.9 million construction contract for JTC
To build an Ayer Rajah Avenue project.
In a release, KSH Holdings Limited (KSH), a construction, property development and property management group, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary company Kim Seng Heng Engineering Construction (Pte) Ltd (KSHEC) has been awarded a construction contract worth approximately S$59.9 million by Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), for a construction project at Ayer Rajah Avenue.
For this contract, KSHEC will erect a single storey building with a basement, landscape park, carpark, storage space and shell space for a district cooling system plant at Ayer Rajah Avenue. Construction will commence in April 2013 and is expected to be completed by January 2015. With this new project, the existing order book of the Group’s construction business continues its uptrend to approximately S$489.0 million.

Going forward, we will pay greater emphasis to public sector construction activities, and look for suitable opportunities in this sector.”
In the public sector, recently completed projects by KSH include the construction of primary schools at Punggol Site 18 at Punggol Place and Sengkang Site 12A at Anchorvale Link, for the Ministry of Education. Also, for the National University of Singapore, KSH built two blocks of 21-storey Residential Colleges with a two-storey Podium, five blocks of two-storey Common Facility Buildings for NUS University Town and a four-storey Education Resource Centre with Lecture Theatre for NUS University Town.
