AusGroup appoints Michael Nesbitt as executive general manager

He has 28 years experience and held senior positions within the operations and projects.

The Board of AusGroup announced the appointment of Michael Nesbitt as executive general manager for projects.

Mr Nesbitt, 52, will be a member of the executive management Team and will be responsible for the management of total project delivery.

In the past, he was group leader for the NSW Mining and Industrial of AECOM Australia from 2008 to 2012. Prior to this, he was project director of Kellogg Brown & Root from 1999 to 2007, according to an AusGroup report.

He has Masters of Project Management degree from University of South Australia and Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, with honours) from University of Adelaide.
