Ausgroup names Tom Butler Vorster as Executive General Manager - Major Projects

He has 25 years experience in the construction industry, covering Mining and resources, Oil and gas, petrochemical, and Infrastructure.

The Board of Ausgroup announced the appointment of Tom Butler Vorster as Executive General Manager - Major Projects.

Mr Vorster, 46 is a member of the Executive Management Team. Responsible for the growth and development of the Major Projects sector, according to an Ausgroup report.

Mr. Vorster has 25 years experience in the construction industry, covering Mining and resources, Oil and gas, petrochemical, and Infrastructure. He also has experience in EPCM / EPC / Alliance / Joint Ventures,  managed projects to the value of $1.6 billion. Out of the 25 years, his last 15 years were in senior management positions such as Construction Director, General Manager, Alliance Manager, Project Director. He also served on steering committees, JV committees and executive committees.
