Boustead Singapore appoints Wong Yu Loon as executive director

The Board looked at his contributions as the group's investment director in deciding on his appointment.

The Board of Boustead Singapore announced the appointment of Wong Yu Loon as executive director.

Mr Wong, 38, joined the Boustead Group in September 2003 as the corporate planning manager and currently serves as the group investment director. In his present role, Mr Wong oversees mergers and acquisitions, fund raising activities and also heads the Boustead Group’s recently announced investments in the renewable energy sector.

He has more than a decade of widespread experience in mergers and acquisitions, fund raising and corporate advisory in roles at top investment firms across Australia and Singapore including Carnegie, Wylie & Company, DBS Bank and Vickers Ballas & Company, according to a Boustead Singapore report.
