Hiap Seng Engineering promotes Valarie Tan Biby to business manager

Hiap Seng Engineering announced the appointment of Valarie Tan Biby as business manager.

Ms Tan, 37, will be responsible for business development. She will establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the Group's projects and services, according to a Hiap Seng Engineering report.

She was the company's estimation engineer from June 2011 until her appointment. Before this, she was product specialist at NACCO Materials Handling Group, Asia Pacific from December 2006 to April 2010 and warranty administration and truck ratings engineer at NACCO Materials Handling Group, Asia Pacific from November 2004 to December 2006.
