SIA Engineering appoints Chew Teck Soon as director

The Board sees that his expertise in auditing, accounting, and finance will augment the company's core competencies.

The Board of SIA Engineering announced the appointment of Chew Teck Soon as director.

Prior to retirement in December 2009, Mr Chew, 61, was from PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore ("PwC"). He acted as lead audit engagement partner for certain SGX listed companies, and major SEC multinational registrants with significant operations in Asia. He was also partner in-charge for Y2K contingency and safety operations for clients and PwC's in-house IT operations. He acted as an audit expert witness for an international arbitration from 2011 to 2013, according to an SIA Engineering report.
