United Engineers promotes Roy Tan Chee Keong to group CFO

He replaced Wong Hein Jee who stepped down to pursue other career opportunities.

United Engineers announced the appointment of Roy Tan Chee Keong as group chief financial officer.

Mr Tan, 43, will assume responsibilities for all the accounting and financial activities of the group. In addition, he will be in charge of all the corporate functions of the group, according to a United Engineers report.

He was chief strategy officer of United Engineers from March 2014 to January 2015. Before this, he held various management appointments in WBL Corporation from May 2006 to February 2014 and was assistant vice-president, market intelligence/strategy at OCBC Bank from September 2004 to April 2006.
