YHM Group appoints Chew Thiam Keng as Non-Executive Chairman

His educational background, relevant experience and proven track record earned him the post.

The Board of YHM Group announced the appointment of Chew Thiam Keng as Non-Executive Director and Chairman.

Mr Chew, 51, was appointed as the Executive Director of Ezion Holdings Limited ("Ezion") on 1 March 2007 and was subsequently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") on 1 June 2007, according to a YHM Group report.

Mr Chew is responsible for Ezion's operations in strategic planning, corporate management and business development. Before joining Ezion, Mr Chew was the Managing Director/CEO of KS Energy Services Limited for about five years and was the Executive Director of Kian Ann Engineering Limited between 1996 and November 2001. Before that, Mr Chew was with the Development Bank of Singapore Limited for nine years working in the areas of banking such as corporate finance and retail banking.
