GeoSpock reveals enrollment under SG:D Spark programme
The firm’s technology will help Singapore accelerate its Smart Nation initiatives.
UK-founded GeoSpock has announced its enrollment under the SG:D Spark programme by the Infocomm Media Development Authority in Singapore.
GeoSpock’s cloud-native analytics database, GeoSpock DB, will enable local government agencies, academic institutions, and enterprises to analyse and optimise data by uniting siloed data for accelerated learning, accurate analysis, and decision-making as well as developing advanced machine learning, artificial intelligence, and digital twin applications that are critical to the future operating model of a Smart Nation, the firm said.
The recognition furthers GeoSpock’s activities in Singapore, where it has opened a local office in 2019.
Since then, GeoSpock has been involved in data fusion and analytics projects with many government agencies, enterprises, and other local institutions.
GeoSpock is also an active participant in the Singapore Land Authority’s GeoWorks community, and has developed an advanced, cloud-native database management system for fusing physical internet (senors) data with other datasets through groundbreaking indexing and querying engineering methods that speed up analytics and dramatically lowers the cost of ownership of any-scale data, the firm added.
