PwC Singapore has pledged close to $10m over the next two years in an effort to enhance the digital skills of more than 3,500 of its employees, the company announced.

The group will go through more than 80,000 hours of “digital fitness” training, which will be assisted via the company’s digital fitness app. Basic lessons include data visualisation, data analytics and automation.

On a global scale, PwC is aiming to upskill its 276,000-strong workforce. The company is setting aside $3b for the next four years to train the global workforce in specialist skills of data analytics, robotics process automation and artificial intelligence.
