REDAS seals deal on IDD dashboard with KPMG
The new platform will help small and medium-sized developers in digitalising their operations.
The Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (REDAS) and KPMG Singapore have inked a collaboration agreement on the creation of a developer-centric integrated digital delivery (IDD) dashboard.
REDAS will work closely with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Enterprise Singapore, KPMG, and other industry partners to assist and support small and medium-sized developers in adopting building information modelling (BIM) and virtual design and construction (VDC).
KPMG will assist REDAS in looking for technology providers to provide optimal solutions needed to develop the dashboard.
“The IDD dashboard, which is planned as a proof of concept project, is expected to extract key relevant data from various digital platforms used across the four stages of design, fabrication, construction, and asset management and operations to allow for developers to manage the lifecycle of their project at a single glance,” REDAS and KPMG said in a joint release. “The dashboard intends to incorporate elements of benchmarking against industry norms as well as use of artificial intelligence to prompt for a call for action in areas of concern.”
Concurrently, REDAS has been working with BCA to further Singapore’s Construction Industry Transformation Map since 2015, by helping private development projects in adopting BIM and VDC to digitalise their operations.
