Sentient.io bags undisclosed series A funding
This brings the total investment raised to more than $7.09m.
AI and data platform Sentient.io has closed its series A funding from Singapore and Japanese investors led by Digital Garage Group, ABC Dream Ventures, and Leave a Nest Group, according to an announcement.
This brings the total investment raised to more than $7.09m (US$5m) since May 2017. The new funds will be used for scaling the platform to the global market, especially to fulfil the surging demand for digital transformation from Japanese corporations.
Sentient.io’s founder and CEO Christopher Yeo said they will continue to raise funds from the international financial markets to expand talent in research, sales, and engineering. “We will also scale up our presence locally as well as overseas with sales offices starting in Japan this year. Expansion into Indonesia and the US are being planned,” he said.
Sentient.io has built an AI and data platform, which allows software developers to pick from its pre-trained AI microservices to create smart applications powered by AI, and for big data owners to generate the new values from their data asset.
