Singaporeans need to spend 8.4 days of income to afford the latest iPhone: report
This is twice longer than that of the average Swiss.
The average Singaporean will have to work for 8.4 days without spending anything else to afford an iPhone 11 Pro 64GB, according to aggregator website Picodi.
This is two days shorter than that of last year with iPhone XS 64GB.
This is based on the official price of the phone in the country at $1,649, and the average gross monthly salary reported by the Ministry of Manpower to be at $5,410.
Meanwhile, the average Swiss will only need 4.8 working days, whilst on the inverse the average Mexican will have to spend 54.2 days worth of income to buy one.
