Singtel pilots cloud networking platform Liquid-X

Singtel has floated Liquid-X, a cloud-based networking platform which streamlines network management by integrating multi-cloud access, analytics and security, a statement read.
The service hopes to grant enterprises with centralised control, flexibility, and scalability to manage their different networks around the world. It is supported by Singtel’s worldwide points-of-presence network infrastructure and partnerships with major public cloud and cloud-based software providers.
Through Singtel’s self-service portal MyConnect, Liquid-X’s analytics function allows enterprises to centrally implement network policies, scale up network bandwidth, create new cloud connections on-demand, manage offices’ access into multiple clouds, and deploy cloud solutions where they are needed.
The platform is integrated with Singtel’s Managed Software-Defined Wide Area Network solution to provide round-the-clock performance monitoring, detection and response to any network anomalies. It also has a flexible pay-per-use pricing model which helps enterprises cut down fixed operating costs for connectivity that is not fully utilised.
