Synagie partners Nanyang Polytechnic to launch SMEs e-commerce solution

The school’s retail studies department will provide e-commerce training for employees.

Singapore-grown e-commerce enabler Synagie Corporation has launched its multi-channel cross-border e-commerce solution (MICES), which targets helping local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) adopt cross-border e-commerce, announced the company.

As part of the initiative, Synagie has entered into a partnership with Nanyang Polytechnic’s Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (NYP-SIRS) to provide certified e-commerce training for the employees of SMEs.

The training programme includes courses exclusively developed by NYP-SIRS which will teach SMEs on navigating Synagie’s self-served cloud platform to manage online businesses. The programme will also instruct through Alibaba business school’s suite of courses, such as the Alibaba CEO Programme, the Alibaba Managerial Elite Programme, and the Alibaba New Retail Content Marketing Programme.

MICES is priced at $20,000, and Singapore SMEs who will apply their employees to the training will receive a 70% subsidy slash off MICES’ fee.
