YouTrip rolls out enhanced security protocol 3DS 2.0
The update reduces risk in fraudulent transactions.
Multi-currency mobile wallet YouTrip has released its latest security protocol update, 3-Domain Secure 2.0 (3DS 2.0) that provides a more seamless and safe way in online transactions for its users.
With the update in place, users are now required to authorize online payments through the YouTrip app. It has 10 times more risk assessment data points than its predecessor, 3DS 1.0, that reduces risk for fake transactions.
In a statement, , YouTrip said it observed 300% quarterly growth in e-commerce transactions, which prompted them to release this new level of security.
A research conducted by Mastercard shows that even after the coronavirus pandemic, consumers will still prefer to shop online.
