6 in 10 CISOs see human error as top cyber vulnerability

CISOs are focusing on AI to combat human-centric cyber threats.

Chief information security officers (CISOs) still view human error as the biggest cyber vulnerability.

In Singapore, 67% of CISOs consider human error the Achilles' heel of cybersecurity, a 15% increase from 2023.

Data from Proofpoint showed that companies face a higher risk of data loss from employee carelessness and negligence (42%) than from external cybercriminal attacks (40%) or malicious insiders (36%).
