COTD: What consumers would trade in exchange for their data

Half still want to keep theirs private.

Some consumers in Singapore will be willing to exchange data they control or own online in exchange for cash (15%) and goods (16%), data from brand experience agency Jack Morton showed.

The majority (50%), however, want to keep their data private, and a few  (115) will donate it to a cause they believe in.

Despite the variation in how they plan to exchange their data, the majority (56%) agreed that they are willing to share their data to have a more personalized experience with a brand.

In comparison with consumers in the Middle East, however, there are fewer in Singapore willing to exchange their data to have a more personalized experience with a brand.
