City Hall, Orchard and Raffles Place will be the first of 28 MRT stations to offer free Wireless@SG connection at the platform level. The rest of the 25 MRT stations will get the free Wireless@SG connection over the next 9 months. View more here.
Homegrown Greenlots, global provider of open-standard technology solutions for electric vehicle networks, has just announced that it is working with BMW Group Asia to provide Singapore’s first electric vehicle (EV) network. This comes following BMW’s recent official launch of their i-series which debuted the BMW i3 and BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports cars in Singapore at last month’s BMW World 2014. View more here.
A local startup has recently debuted a mobile app that’s apparently set to be a Skype contender. Nanu, a new ad-supported app for Android, lets you make free app-to-non app calls — that means you can use it to connect to landlines as well as other mobile phones, even if they haven’t had the app installed.
