Singapore and UK researchers team up to fight cyber attacks

Six joint projects will have a £2.4m backing.

Singapore and UK researchers are teaming up on six new joint research projects to enhance systems and infrastructure resilience against cyber attacks.

According to a joint news release by UK’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and Singapore’s National Research Foundation, the projects will be funded over the next three years by the £2.4m results of a research call.

The Singapore universities involved in the programme are National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and Nanyang Technological University.

Meanwhile, the UK universities participating are University of Oxford, University of Kent, University of Surrey, Imperial College, and University of Southampton.

The projects cover research areas in Intrusions, Data Analytics, Human Factors and Sector & Applications.
