Singapore is Asia’s capital for cloud-based startups: survey
It is 4th amongst countries with the highest proportion of cloud startups to population globally.
Dubbed the Silicon Valley of Asia, Singapore is ranked first amongst countries in Asia with the highest proportion of cloud startups and fourth in the global rankings, according to Sage Intacct.

The survey revealed that over $200m has been invested in Singapore-based startups since 2017 and that Singapore is the 12th biggest location for cloud businesses in the world.
According to the survey, the factors that earned Singapore its place amongst global peers are its access to a concentrated workforce of cloud tech entrepreneurs, low corporate tax rates (17%) and one of the fastest internet speeds in the world at 211Mbps.
