Singtel subsidiary acquires Australian-based digital tech consultancy firm for $295m
This brings its recent investments in Australia to four.
To speed up its digital growth in Australia, SingTel subsidiary NCSI Holdings Pte. Ltd. (NCS) has acquired digital services firm ARQ Group (ARQ), for $295m (A$290m).
In a bourse statement, Singtel said that the acquisition scaled up NCS NEXT in Australia with an end-to-end digital transformation value proposition for clients.
The latest acquisition will also grow NCS’ in-market headcount to 1,900 and will accelerate digital talent development.
This is its fourth investment in Australia following NCS’ recent acquisition of Australia’s largest IT services firm, The Dialog Group, and two previous investments with cloud consultancy, Riley, and cloud transformation specialist, Eight20.
