TIBCO appoints Erich Gerber as general manager of Asia Pacific and Japan
Gerber will be based in Singapore.
TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in integration and analytics, today announced the appointment of Erich Gerber as general manager of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). With a mandate to drive the accelerated growth of the company in the region, Gerber will lead sales and go-to-market strategy, and is expected to foster deeper customer engagements, strengthen partnerships, and form a greater network of alliances.
“Erich’s rich and varied experience within TIBCO, highlighted by his time working in Europe and the United States, make him the ideal choice to drive our business in the Asia Pacific region. Gerber joined TIBCO in 2009 as regional vice president of the company’s Central, Eastern European, and Nordic regions. Under his stewardship, licensing revenue in these regions doubled in three years, while total revenue increased by 75%, accounting for approximately 10% of the company’s overall revenue.
In 2014, Gerber served as vice president, global sales operations based at TIBCO’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California. In this role, he led multiple strategic initiatives supporting the company’s digital transformation.
