Chart of the day: 6 in 10 says Singapore Grand Prix is good for the country
Only 1 in 3, however, said they will follow the race in person or online.
This chart from YouGov shows that six in 10 Singaporean adults think that the Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix has a positive impact on the country.
This comes even as just one in three say they intend to follow the race in person or online (37%), indicating that positive sentiment transcends whether residents identify as fans or not. Amongst F1 fans, however, positive sentiment is even higher with eight in 10 saying the race has a positive impact on the country.
