Rohit was previously the Managing Director of HSBC Bank Limited.

He will also be a Board Director effective immediately.

Effective immediately, Ms. Ang will be succeeding Teresa Lim who will be taking a leave of absence.

The appointment is effective from 5 July 2011. It is subject to the approval of the Monetary Authority of Singapore as required under the Securities and Futures Act (Cap. 289).

Payne will head the five-member Asia-Pacific board in Singapore.

He will be reporting directly to Koh Kong Meng, General Manger and Executive Director of Lenovo ASEAN. Lenovo announced the appointment of Lee Chown How as Country General Manager, Lenovo Singapore. He will be responsible for managing relationships with key corporate clients, overseeing distribution channels for consumer and SMB segments, as well as overall sales and marketing for Lenovo and its products in Singapore. Lee was most recently the Think Product Team Lead, managing the full portfolio of Think products - ThinkPad, ThinkCentre and ThinkStation – in ASEAN. He moved to Lenovo in 2005 during the acquisition of IBM’s personal computer division and was part of both the Personal Systems Group and the Personal Computer Division in IBM. During his time in IBM, he was responsible for introducing products that contributed to ThinkPad’s product leadershipin the region. Lee is a graduate from the University of Central Arkansas, United States with a Masters in Business Administration.
