“Hungry” developers to launch new condos

Some have already started launching projects post-Hungry Ghost festival and more are coming on stream for September.

Hoi Hup Sunway is set to conduct balloting of its latest project Arc at Tampines today, Sept.8 after having been “oversubscribed” when it started accepting registration of interest last Aug.31.

ECG senior district director Eric Tng told Singapore Business Review that the 574-unit executive condo has about 3 applications to 1 unit.

“Arc is a resort themed project with activities for all ages. There will also be multi-generation units.This project is in the condo belt in Tampines and has easy access to major expressways. The new MRT will be about 1 km away when opened in 2018,” he said.

The property is expected to receive TOP on Dec. 2015. It has an average price of $700 psf.

Sim Lian Group is also holding today a preview of its project A Treasure Trove at Punggol Walk.

Major selling points of the 882-unit apartment due to receive TOP in 2014 according to property agents are: 3-min walk to Punggol MRT/LRT/Bus interchange; and 3-min walk to future Punggol Town Centre, Shopping Mall and WATERWAY. The average selling price is $850 psf.
