Ascott’s DPU suffers through 2.0% decline

But strong RevPAU buffets against losses.

According to a report by OCBC, Ascott Residence Trust (ART)’s DPU stood at 5.92 S cents, reflecting a 2.0% slip, but adjustment for one-off items revealed growth of 2.4%.

In addition, recent acquisitions helped boost ART’s portfolio RevPAU 10.2% YoY to S$141. Excluding this, ART’s China, Indonesia and Vietnam assets’ strong performance still led to RevPAU’s 6% YoY leap.

OCBC also observes ART’s revenue was at S$301.9m, a reflection of a 15.1% rise in 9M15.
