Hmlet opens five branches in Tokyo

The co-living space operator also picked internally for new CTO and CFO.

Asia-Pacific’s co-living company, Hmlet, has announced adding 168 rooms within five new properties across Tokyo, a press release confirmed. The new properties include studios along with one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, which are located in Sengoku, Iwatomocho, Takadanobaba, Sangenjaya and Harajuku area.

Monthly fees for these properties can be tailored to members’ requirements, whilst furnishings, utilities and maintenance can be customised. Members can also opt in to services such as housekeeping and laundry, amongst others. Prices start from ¥120,000 ($1,565) for a studio in Sengoku, according to the press release.

Another press release from Hmlet revealed that they have promoted Pramodh Rai and Rajive Keshup to chief technology officer and chief financial officer, respectively. As the new CTO, Rai will lead Hmlet’s technology platform buildout, data governance efforts and drive business efficiencies.

Keshup’s new role comprises leading the finance, accounting, investments, corporate strategy, and legal teams. He will also be responsible for securing and maintaining supply-side relationships with landlords or developers, the press release added.
