Sing Holdings Limited subsidiary acquires 2-8 Robin Road residential
S$52 million sale and purchase agreement covers all strata lots and common property at address.
Sing Holdings (Robin) Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sing Holdings Limited, announced the acquisition in a note to SGX.
2-8 Robin Road and other adjoining sites, 1 Robin Drive and Robin Court, “will form an island site flanked by Bukit Timah Road, Robin Road, Robin Drive and Robin Close and will have a total land area of 8,172.0 square metres (approximately 87,962.6 square feet),” said Sing Holdings.
“With a plot ratio of 1.4 and including a 10 per cent balcony area allocation, the Property can yield a gross floor area of 12,584.9 square metres (approximately 135,462.4 square feet). The total purchase price of all the sites shall be S$176.33 million,” it added.
Mr Lee Sze Hao CEO of Sing Holdings said, “Despite the recent cooling measures, the latest acquisition of this Robin site is a strategic one. The bigger land area will allow more flexibility in design and layout. This will enhance the overall value of the proposed development.”
The acquisition and development of the Property will be financed by internal funds and bank borrowings, said Sing Holdings. The sale is also subject to approval from the Strata Titles Board and Sing Holdings Robin obtaining a Qualifying Certificate from the Controller of Housing.
