8@BT achieves strong launch, selling 53% of its units post-Ghost Month
Units sold during launch had an average price of $2,719 psf.
8@BT sold 53% or 83 of its 158 units, making it the second project launch to exceed a 50% sales take-up rate after the June holidays, Huttons reported.
It is also "one of the best showings" in 2024 so far, in terms of launch take-up rate, behind Lentor Mansion, which sold 75% of its units, and ahead of Kassia, which sold 52% of its units.
During its launch, 118 units were released, with 83 units—70%— sold at an average price of $2,719 psf.
Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited reported that, as of 22 September, the project sold nearly 91% of its 1-bedroom units, 60% of its 2-bedroom units, and 49% of its 3-bedroom units.
The majority of buyers (99%) were Singaporeans or permanent residents (PRs), with one foreign buyer from the USA. "We also saw a healthy proportion of upgraders and right sizers," Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited said.
"The design of all the units is well thought through. The 1- and 2-bedroom unit layouts are highly efficient, with minimal corridors and no balconies. The landscape layout of the living and dining areas in all units further adds to the appeal," Huttons commented.
