Average price of new luxury condos dips to $2,782 psf in Q2
This translates to a 1.1% decline from Q1.
New luxury condos became more affordable in Q2 2022 as their average price dropped by 1.1% to $2,782 psf.
On the other hand, resale condo prices continued to rise, increasing by 1.3% to $2,089 psf.
In terms of sales, both new and resale luxury condos saw an uptick in Q2; the former grew by 70.2% to 589 units, and the latter increased by 32.8% to 688 units.
Overall, total private homes sold in the Central Core Region rose by 47.5% to 1,283.
The best-selling new condos in CCR were Leedon Green (53 units), Haus on Handy (52 units), Irwell Hill Residences (49 units), The Avenir (48 units) and Hyll on Holland (41 units).
