Chart of the Day: 2 in 3 Reserved List units in GLS programme unlikely to be triggered for sale

As weak residential market persists.

The Reserve List contains nine private residential sites (including one EC site), one commercial and residential site, two commercial sites and one White site.

According to the URA, these sites could yield about 5,755 private residential units and 265,130 sqm GFA of commercial space. The commercial & residential site at Holland Road, which was originally on the 2H14 Confirmed List, is the first sale site to be launched as part of the Holland Village Extension plan unveiled in the government’s Master Plan 2014.

A report by Barclays reveals that the URA has transferred this site from the Confirmed List to the Reserve List so that developers can perform a more detailed evaluation of the site and understand the tender criteria before it is triggered for sale.

A Concept and Price Revenue Tender will be adopted for this site to ensure the ‘urban village’ character of Holland Village is maintained.
