
Chart of the Day: Check out the most popular projects for HDB upgraders in Q2
Three out of the top five projects are located in the RCR.
This chart by Edmund Tie Research reveals that Treasure at Tampines, located outside central region (OCR), sold the most number of units to buyers with HDB addresses amongst projects in the new sale market in Q2 at 60 units.
Whilst new projects in the OCR remained favoured by buyers, developments in the rest of central region (RCR) were also popular amongst buyers with HDB addresses, with three of the top five new projects located in it. Parc Esta garnering the most sale volume in the segment at 48 units.
The prices of most transactions in the RCR ranged between $1m and $1.5m and were mainly for the smaller units. Likewise, the new transacted units in the OCR were also largely to be purchased as investment properties below $1m and less than 700 sqft.
