Chart of the Day: Non-landed purchases across all residential status slid in Q1

Foreign purchasers recorded the largest fall of 26.1%.

This chart from EDMUND TIE shows that in terms of transaction volume, purchases across all residential status declined, with the largest fall of 26.1% QoQ coming from foreign purchasers or non-permanent residents to 215 units in Q1. This is said to be the lowest quarterly sales recorded since the same period last year when foreigners purchased 165 units.

Further, transaction volume by Singaporeans and Singapore permanent residents (PR) decreased by 12.5% and 10.5% QoQ to 2,923 and 610 units, respectively, over the same period.

A total of 2,089 non-landed sales was clocked in the same quarter.
