Chart of the Day: See how much HDB resale volume has slumped since its May 2010 peak

It slipped by 6.8% to 1,447 units in August.

Singapore's HDB resale volume tumble continues this month, as prices climbed slightly compared to the previous month.

However, the resale volume saw an increase of 9% to 1,327 units year-on-year.

According to SRX, resale prices of 4 and 5 room flats went up by 1.4% and 0.9% respectively while prices of HDB 3 Room and Executive Flats went down by 0.7% and 2.0% respectively.

"Prices have remained relatively flat with a 0.1% dip in the last 5 months; Year-on-year, prices have dropped 3.0% from August 2014," SRX said.

"Prices have declined 11.3% since the peak in April 2013; Price change in July 2015 has been revised from a 0.5% decrease to 0.6% decrease," SRX added.
