Chart of the Day: See which projects set the highest home prices in 2018
In June, Wallich Residence set the highest price for a private home at $4,560 psf.
This chart from OrangeTee & Tie shows that the highest prices for private homes have significantly gone up in over a year. In June 2017, Wallich Residence set the highest price at $3,187 psf, and in the year later, it set the highest price again at $4,560 psf.
Meanwhile, new private home sales took a beating in June as a result of the holiday season and new projects being launched at new benchmark prices. Compared to last month, developer sales plummeted by 34% to 706 units, including executive condominiums (EC).
“Sales volume did not match the market confidence of some developers as many key projects were launched at new benchmark prices in June,” said OrangeTee & Tie head of research & consultancy Christine Sun.
