Completed condo prices up 0.1% in December

Condo prices in the Central region edged up 0.2%.

Prices of completed condominium units finally saw a hike of 0.1% MoM in December 2018 after a protracted downtrend since since August 2018, data from the NUS-Singapore Residential Price Index (NUS SRPI) show.

The overall increase was backed by the 0.2% MoM hike in Central region condo prices. Meanwhile, prices of condo units outside the Central region dipped 0.1% whilst prices for small units remained unchanged.

In November, completed condo prices fell 0.5% MoM largely dragged down by the 0.9% dip in condo prices within the Central region. Meanwhile, prices of units around the non-Central region decreased 0.1% whilst prices for small units fell 0.7%.
