
Completed condo prices up 0.4% in February
But prices of shoebox flats deteriorated.
Overall prices of completed non-landed residential homes rose 0.4% month-on-month in February, according to the latest Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) by the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Prices of condos in central units rose by 0.5%, while prices of completed non-central homes rose by 0.3%.
In contrast, prices of shoebox flats—those with an area smaller than 506 square feet—dropped by 1.1% during the month.
The Central region sub-basket comprises properties within the overall SRPI basket located in Postal Districts 1 through 4 and 9 through 11 while properties in the other postal districts are in the non-Central region sub-basket.
