HBD launches platform for simplified housing transactions

The Housing Development Board will roll out the HDB Flat Portal progressively starting today.

National Development Minister Desmond Lee has announced the launch of a platform that will simplify the process of buying and selling HDB flats, a statement read.

The Housing Development Board will roll out the HDB Flat Portal progressively starting today. It is the second phase of the HDB Resale Portal launched in January 2018.

Some of the main features include customised financial calculators both for buyers and sellers, a one-stop loan listing service to obtain information on housing loans offered by HDB and participating financial institutions, and a flat-listing service with information on current and upcoming new HDB flats.

HDB is looking to include resale flat listings in subsequent phases, he added.
