HDB Jumbo flat sold at 50 Moh Guan Terrace for $1.5m: Knight Frank
There has been an increase in buyer interest in larger homes.
Property firm, Knight Frank, declared that it set a new resale transaction record in Singapore with the sale of an HDB Jumbo flat at 50 Moh Guan Terrace.
In June 2022, $1.418 million was also set by KF Property Network for a five-room loft at SkyTerrace@Dawson.
Those who brokered the sales are Alvin Yeo, associate deputy division director, KF Property Network, and Evan Chung, head of KF Property Network.
Since the end of a circuit breaker in 2020, there has been an increase in buyer interest for bigger homes. The pandemic altered the way people use their home space and contributed to the growing market demand and prices for larger-sized units.
Chung said headlines of million-dollar HDB apartments being sold, it is reassuring to know that most flats remain within reach.
Chung added that policies like the HDB build-to-order scheme, CPF family grants, and various other measures by the HDB have helped enable Singaporeans to acquire affordable housing to start a family.
