HDB launches over 6,000 flats for December 2023 BTO exercise
Four of the projects have a waiting time of four years.
HDB launched 6,057 flats for sale under the December 2023 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise.
The flats are spread across eight new projects in both mature and non-mature estates, with four projects having a waiting time of 4 years or less.
The eight BTO projects are in Bedok, Bishan, Bukit Merah, Bukit Panjang, Jurong West, Queenstown, and Woodlands.
All new flats are priced with market discounts to ensure affordability with lower selling prices.
Flats range from 2-room to 5-room and include Community Care Apartments (CCAs).
Eligible first-timer families can also benefit from the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG) of up to $80,000.
Interested applicants must have a valid HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter when they submit their flat application.
Processing will take a month or longer during peak periods. Applicants who submitted requirements on or before 11 November 2023 can apply for a flat in this sales launch.
Applications can be made online via HDB Flat Portal until 11 December 2023 with a limit of 1 flat type/category in 1 town.
Applicants do not need to rush their application submission as HDB will shortlist applicants using a computer ballot and not on a first-come-first-served basis.
The rising demand for housing prompted HDB's commitment to launch 23,000 flats in 2023. The latest launch makes up for a total of 22,780 flats this year.
Including the 1,500 and 167 flats under the Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) exercise and open booking of flats, respectively, HDB’s total flat launch for 2023 stands at 24,447 flats.
