
HDB resale prices down 0.2% in October
HDB Executive prices slipped 2.2%.
Housing and Development Board (HDB) flat resale prices dipped 0.2% MoM in October, SRX Property revealed. HDB Executive saw the largest price slip of 2.2%.
HDB 3 rooms and HDB 5 rooms prices inched up 0.8% and 1.5%, respectively. On the other hand, HDB 4 rooms prices dipped 0.7%.
SRX Property also found that prices in mature estates rose 0.4%, whilst those in non-mature estates slipped 0.6% MoM.

On a YoY basis, HDB resale prices dropped 2.1% in October. Prices also fell 14.3% compared to its peak in April 2013.
By volume, HDB resales dipped 0.3% to 1,994 flats in October from 1,999 transacted units in September 2018. Despite this, the October volume climbed 11.8% YoY compared to the 1,783 units resold in the previous year.
In September, HDB flat resale prices dipped 0.7% MoM, with HDB Executive witnessing the largest price decrease of 1.9%.
