HDB resale volume soared by 25.6% in March
Resale prices have continued their ninth straight month of increases.
HBD resale volumes in March saw a massive increase. According to the latest SRX report, a total of 2,448 HDB transactions were recorded over the full month, 25.6% more than during the same period last year.
HBD 4-room flats factored for more than a third of those transactions, at 43.3%, followed by 25.5% from 5-room flats, 22.9% for 3-room and 7% for executive apartments.
Mature estate prices increased by 8.1%, while non-mature estate prices posted a 10.4% increase YoY.
The highest value transaction made in March was the $1.2 m sale of a 5-room DBS unit in Natura loft. For non-mature estates, the highest transaction was the $910,000 sale of a 5-room premium apartment at Treelodge@Punggol.
Prices in March, 2021 were 4.9% lower than the historicofal peak in April 2013.
