Home launches in the OCR dipped 8.1% to 702 units

The largest was the 380-unit Stratum.

According to Colliers International, launch volume in the Outside Central Region (OCR) slipped 8.1% to 702 units owing to the lack of major project launches for the second consecutive month. As a result, home-buying activity was stable with buyers taking up 728 units in May, just 0.1% short of the 729 units sold in April.

Consequently, launch and sales volume in the OCR account for 46.2% and 50.0% of total launch and sales volume islandwide, down from 65.7% and 52.8%, respectively in April.

Only a handful of projects were newly launched in the OCR. The largest was the 380-unit and fully launched Stratum (269 units sold). The others include the 136-unit NeWest (68 units sold) and 53-unit Cambio Suites (15 units sold), both were fully launched.

With limited new project launches in the region in May, developers continued to move units in projects that were previously launched. These include La Fiesta (another 46 units sold), Midtown Residences (moved another 32 units) and D’nest (another 29 units sold).
