The planned development in the Kembangan site will likely fall under the Plus model, given its proximity to its namesake MRT station.
According to Huttons, the Kembangan site will be integrated with a commercial building comprising Kampong Kembangan Community Centre (CC), a multi-storey car park, a supermarket, an eating house, an outpatient healthcare facility and retail shops.
Huttons believes that first-time home buyers will likely snap up 4-room flats in the development.
The development may also be a hit amongst seniors who wish to right size to a 2-room flexi flat.
“With our ageing population, it may be appropriate to integrate healthcare facilities in the community and make healthcare more accessible,” the expert said.
Huttons said the proposed development may also boost property prices in the area.
“Some of the older condos in the area may even try for en bloc,” the expert added.
